Lambar Pizza

Lambar Pizza

Looking for a ‘go to’ casual BYO/Licensed restaurant with reliably good food and service? For many who live on the north side of the Gold Coast, Lambar is a favourite.

Cosy and warmly welcoming, there are intimate touches which draw us in: the beckoning glow of a fairy light heart in the window, a cosy warm interior on a rainy night, the smiling assurance of Manager Jaimie Lamb telling us ‘Sure, we can do that!’ ‘Yes, we have gluten-free.’ There’s ease and a flow to the place; the marks of a confident establishment.

The menu is simple and approachable: pizza and pasta with salad to salve the conscience. Nothing boundary breaking, all within reach of the average diner, dishes could easily be shared or eaten as mains. Not only are the meals well-priced (Pizza $14 – $28, Pasta $17 – $27 all under $21 except seafood, Salads $10 – $21), they’re also generous serves of good quality nosh, our Marinara Rosé featuring chunks of seafood and plenty of flavour. There’s a kick in the Matriciana, but not too much. Don’t like tomato, want something more fancy? Then try the Zena’s Special, or the Pizza Levi stacked with prawns!

Best of all, the ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude is an absolute winner! Lambar is a little suburban gem, its consistent performance making it a favourite affordable night out. Not only decorated with hearts, Lambar is also filled with love.

Corkage is $2.50pp.
