  • Novotel Surfers Paradise launched their all-day dining venue BLVD Cafe and Bar last night. With a great location, 20% location and daily Happy Hour there are plenty of reasons to party!
  • Soft polenta, I've been missing you! At Bambino's, bacon-wrapped chicken rests on a pillow of fluffy polenta with napoli sauce, the freshest beef carpaccio is dressed in EVO and capers and arancini are simply divine! A song for entertainment and on the table, @bambinoitalian is well worth a visit.
  • We've been away travelling from St Petersburg to Ireland, but now we're on the way home. Missed my foodie friends! Looking forward to fresh Gold Coast food, like Chef Jules's cooking at Mr PP's. Bring on great food and wine, enjoyed with even better company!
  • New Zealand, where flights of wine accompany food cooked in wine barrels, where seafood comes fresh from the ocean beyond the front door, and vineyards tempt us with the best tasting plates. Read about our South Island road trip on our website foodgoldcoast.com.au
  • Lobster from a roadside caravan in Lonely Planet's Top 💯, winery tastings in a tiny church, lunch overlooking the inlet, or seafood chowder on a windswept coast...we find all these and more on New Zealand's South Island. Read more on our website foodgoldcoast.com.au
  • Ireland honours its food heroes by appointing them Food Champions. Niall Sabongi, owner of Klaw and The Seafood Cafe is one, ambassador for sustainable fresh seafood. Lunch at his cafe is a joy - Seafood Chowder with leeks and pippis, citrus breaded Arklow plaice and these magnificent freshly shucked Galway oysters, plump, creamy, freshly dripping with seawater @klawcafe
  • What do you eat for lunch in St Petersburg, Russia? Needing fortification after the Hermitage Museum, crepes with roe, beef stroganoff and potato pancakes with cream fill up the cold corners. All in a day's research with the team! #stpetersburgrussia #foodgoldcoastontour #russianfood #caviar
  • What can you expect from a Michelin starred restaurant? Stars are awarded to restaurants (not chefs, as many believe)...places worth travelling to visit, and we had come across the world! We experienced luxe surrounds, gorgeously plated exquisite food and attentive cordial service when we lunched at Marchal, d'Angleterre Hotel, Copenhagen. Take a look...
