  • Mario's' 30th birthday. One of Gold Coast’s longest-standing restaurants, Mario’s Italian Restaurant, is turning 30 this month, marking the occasion with a huge family-style banquet on Thursday 29th August from 6pm at The Oasis. You’re invited to join in!
There will be long tables of twelve so diners can interact.
“It’s all about family and togetherness, while paying homage to family traditions,” says co-owner Marlon Pirie.
“The merrymaking begins with a hearty four-course Italian feast for $60 per person including pizza bread, a shared entrée platter, your choice of any main from the entire Mario’s menu and a delectable dessert selection.  We ask everyone to book and join us at our shared tables on Thursday 29th August!” said the Mario’s owners and management team.
Drink specials include Aperol Spritz, Italian wines and buckets of beer. Of course there will also be cake!

Using Allpress coffee and with Chef Rodney Anlezark (ex-Siguenos, Substance Espresso) in the kitchen, Espresso Moto's new menu is a cracker. Our favourites are Loaded Brekkie Quesadilla, Not Your Standard Melt - a posh Croque Monsieur, with roast potatoes and chimmichurri (yum!) and the most ramped up Avo Smash we've seen -You All Know Me AEP, where avo, edamame and peas are joined by beetroot hummus and chick pea bombs.
