Burleigh Co-Op 2 Hibiscus Haven, Burleigh Heads Ph:

New owners and a complete revamp of the former Burleigh Social venue have given us a new place to enjoy food prepared by Head Chef Dennis Duncanson. Burleigh Co-Op is the quintessential Gold Coast café with outdoor dining under umbrellas, an open kitchen, tasty casual food and exceptional service. Even pets are welcome. Bask in the sunshine with a coffee and brekkie, mid-week to avoid the crowds!

Cabukee Shop 5/3029 The Boulevard, Emerald Lakes Ph: 07 5594 2860

Emerald Lakes, with its geographical central hub boasting cafés and restaurants, is set up to foster community. Cabukee’s new owners, Chef Fin Tully and his wife Risa, have added a touch of class to the café, injecting new life into favourite dishes. With everything made in house, including sauces, all the food is cooked to order. Stepping up to modern dining is a welcome change in this area, the weekend share plate menu suiting a multiple of purposes. This is just the meeting place that Emerald Lakes needed!

Eddy + Wolff 12/217-219 Ron Penhaligon Way, Robina Ph: 0481 838 433

When Thao and Vien Nguyen took over Can Tho Kitchen from Thao’s mother in 2014, they transformed the Runaway Bay restaurant into a colourful bar restaurant. It told the story of a family’s migration from Vietnam to Australia, with Thao and Vien’s story continued in a more modern genre at Eddy + Wolff, a tiny restaurant bar in Robina. Using their travels through Asia as inspiration, the share plate menu gives the pair’s take on their favourite dishes, best enjoyed as a banquet.

Grand Dynasty The Oasis, 75 Surf Parade, Broadbeach Ph: 07 5538 1688

Having worked on the Gold Coast for many years, Ken Zeng and business partner Alain Yue have opened their first restaurant. Bridging old and new traditions, Grand Dynasty is one of our most modern Chinese restaurants on the Gold Coast, with a menu of handmade yum cha for lunch and à la carte for dinner featuring live seafood. Whether you are meeting a work colleague for lunch or celebrating an auspicious event, Grand Dynasty has a menu to suit your needs. The venue is fully licensed.
