When Thao and Vien Nguyen took over Can Tho Kitchen from Thao’s mother in 2014, they transformed the Runaway Bay restaurant into a colourful bar restaurant. It told the story of a family’s migration from Vietnam to Australia, with Thao and Vien’s story continued in a more modern genre at Eddy + Wolff, a tiny restaurant bar in Robina. Using their travels through Asia as inspiration, the share plate menu gives the pair’s take on their favourite dishes, best enjoyed as a banquet.
